Appraisal Solutions

  • DND has consultants with extensive experience in historic restoration, art restoration, furniture, and other fine arts as well as the production and installation of architectural millwork and museum installations. If after review of a file it is determined other experts or specialists are required, we have an extensive network of qualified engineers, architects, building envelope experts, and more.
  • Our experts at DND have served as both appraisers and umpires for claims ranging from single family residential to multi-million-dollar claims. Some examples include condominiums, church properties, historic properties, hotel, retail, commercial and industrial properties.
  • Appraisal requires a certain amount of intellectual curiosity, as the demand is often made an extended period of time after the occurrence. Appraisers and umpires need to be able to take the available information, analyze it, and re-create in their minds how events unfolded in order to understand the known facts and possible repercussions of the peril or event.
  • As we provide consulting services and construction management services on a daily bases we are in touch with current cost trends that impact renovation and re-construction.

Settlement Resolution

There is more than one way to settle a claim dispute. DND consultants have worked with attorneys to settle claims outside of the appraisal process and have experience with negotiation, mediation, and other methods.
